I Think that the Famas is one of the best guns that you can probably ask for. even the airsoft version is good. I am American, and i think that we should actually learn to use different weapons. I got my experience from the war

You dumb jarheads who are anti-French on every stance are a bunch of ill-informed ignoramuses. I agree with Richard (read above) about yes the French are our oldest ally since the US's inception and they currently operate on par with the US in terms of military and nuclear technology. Just because they don't conform to US norms and actually take a different stance doesn't make them any less or inferior. Hey jarheads who invented democracy? It was the French!!!! Did you know that? Also during the first Gulf War Dick Cheney spoke of the quagmire the US would have been embroiled in if they had taken Mr. Hussein himself out in a body bag and was against it then; times of changed and now he stands to directly benefit in the war financially and look at this ill-devised invasion plan based on WMD and then when that went south all of the other slogans became more ridiculous that supported our intervention in a country for no other reason then for a small number of people to line their pockets with the falling value of US greenbacks; maybe they traded their currencies for the Euro? Soon enough maybe you can use the USD to heat your MRE's-oh yeah some of them are already chemically able to heat themselves because you are inept to building fires? In regards to the French Foreign Legion one of them equals about 5-10 Army/Marines generally speaking. I remember reading a passage out of a book about WWII whereby a NCO in the Army told their subordinate men to be careful of the tall skinny men in white Kepi hats but those GI's had to find out the hard way when they were left bleeding in an alley way. So go read up on your history with a critical eye towards what propaganda that is being manufactured on the CIA owned CNN today. Or go read that book by Noam Chomsky called Manufacturing Consent...it will be educational.

I just believe that's is right to say except the french foreign legion, (maybe because them are foreigner !!!) the french army doesn't sound great on the history. but France still is here !! then, should be something else than just "foie gras" and "salade a la russe" behind that.

well, by the way, i Firmly believe that for running the economy, USA need a war somewhere for running the military supply companies. USA, can't be in peace, if them are, it will be internal problem !

anyway, actually, the tresors bond stay in chinese hand, it is better for US ?

Back on subject, despite being a civilian, I do know many military (the Spahis regiment is based in my town of Valence), and all of them where unanimous : the food in the USArmy sucks !!!
And they also told me that every US military that tried the Famas gun cried for the scrap they had instead.

And stop saying we don't "do our part" against terror : we are in Afghanistan too.
If we didn't want to be part of "the gulf war 2 : operation Saddam", it is because we think that when hollywood do a sequel for a successful movie, it sucks most of time.
Why didn't Bush Sr. didn't take Saddam the first time ? and just said "okay, it's over, stop the war NOW !" ???
I do remember that in the 90's, we used to have terrorist attacks while USA were a haven.
I also remember that french citizens died too in the 9-11.

Why are we still bashing the French? Weren't they right about Iraq not having WMDs? Yes they are fighting terrorism along side us. But in there own way. As the only other country that operates a nuclear carrier, the only country that has a commericially successful space program, the country that has the highest rated healthcare system in the world and as our oldest ally (they bankrupted themselves supporting our revolution), I think this ill informed, uneducated view of France is hardly in our best interest and certainly not fair. Food tastes are individual and based on culture and experience. Hardly a bases for judging a country's ability to fight. How about some facts for a change instead repeating some emotional claptrap.

I'd rather have a burrito.Maybe MRE burrito at that! I'm willing to bet that it tastes better than that nasty sounding stuff? This is the military, not the country club.

It makes you wonder that with crap like this being served, no wonder the Germans were able to detour around the Maginot Line in WW ll and drive to Paris in such a very short time!With the exception of the French Foreign Legion, one would assume that their conventional forces don't have the will to succeed in combat as evidenced by creating such luxuries which apparently come first?
