Brits Win! Brits Win!

Churchill_V.jpg

That doggone liberal mainstream press is up to it again, labeling the plan Tony Blair introduced today as a "withdrawal." Thank goodness Vice President Cheney collared ABC's Jonathan Karl before the correspondent got to the airwaves and added to the proliferation of bad skinny.

"I look at it, and what I see is an affirmation of the fact that there are parts of Iraq where things are going pretty well," Cheney said.

Tony Blair anounced that the troops are being sent to reinforce afganistan - 1 fight at a time and we need to win the war there before we sort the mess the yanks made of Iraq and we have been there from the start.-Brit with 3 tours.

OK, I'm behind on my doublethink.

Discussing reductions in US troop strengths would embolden the enemy and is a strategy of defeat.

Discussing reductions in British troop strengths is an acknowledgement that the mission is going great, and we've pretty much already won.

I'm clearly not anywhere near smart enough to follow your reasoning there, Dick.

"You mean Bush was actually able to get Britain and Denmark to help in Iraq? I thought this whole thing was unilateral."

If you want to call it a multilateral failure, or a multilateral disaster, you certainly can. For now, anyway.

Why don't they redeploy to other areas in Iraq? Help us get the job done quicker.

Oh. Right.

OK, Dick, if things are going so well for the Brits, then send them into Sadr City, they seem to be needed there.
