Another Sunday Paper Comix Page

Recommended by Kaltes in the comments section for the previous video. (Once again, readers keep us on message.) This one shows the French Canadian Army at their lethal best.

U.S.-made Javelin misfires...

Shit happens, I told you.

Posted by: Sven Ortmann at March 20, 2007 02:24 PM

It may be a Canadian crew launching this weapon but the weapon itself is an ERYX AT Missile, manufactured by MBDA of France. The Canucks may have been made to look foolish in this video but it's obviously the weapon system that is at fault here, not the soldiers' training.

Yawn. Danger Room had this almost a month ago:

Not french, quebecois, you can tell by the accent.

Can any French speakers translate what they're saying? Well, except for the end. I think everyone understands "Oh sh*t!" in any language.

You better change the news because it's the Canadaian and not French army that's shown.

And such shit happens in every army.
Or do you believe that every Javelin does just what it should?

Wow! A new record with a missile of range with 30 inches and it's a weapon that does not harm anyone! The French are sure pacifists! Nothing could beat the French on that. I thought a white flag would pop out instead! This is one of the most revolutionary weapons ever made since the Chauchat Gun! Viva France!
